Elva Gale (Mark) Boreman 1894 – 1959

Elva Gale (Mark) Boreman was born 28 June 1894 in Chester, Wayne, Ohio. She was the daughter of William Mark and Elidia Rebecca Ritter. She married Myron A. Boreman. They were married 13 September 1912 in Wayne Co., Ohio. They had four children.

Obituary for Elva:

“Elva Boreman, Wife of Myron.  Burbank – Mrs. Elva G. Boreman, 65, wife of Myron A. Boreman, died at the Wooster Hospital Tuesday morning after a long illness.  She was a daughter of William and Rebecca Ritter Mark.  She was born June 28, 1893, in Chester Twp. and lived all her life in Chester and Congress Twps.  She was a member of the Four – square Church in Wooster.  Surviving are her husband, Myron; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel B. Litz, of Mansfield; three sons, Marion, and Wayne of Burbank RD 1 and Harold of the army; fourteen grandchildren; five great – grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Kauffman of Wooster and Mrs. Emma Wilson of Maryland; five brothers, Amos, Charles, and James Mark all of Wooster, Guy of Burbank, and Thomas of Wadsworth.  Her parents, a grandson, two sisters, and two brothers died previously.  Services will be Friday at 2 p. m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with the Rev. E. L. Thompson officiating.  Burial will be in Congress Cemetery.”
