Kelly
My father’s family is linked to the Kelly family through the Brumfield family.
William S Kelly was born in Ireland. He served in Captain Brown’s Company in the 1st Regiment of the North Carolina Militia during the American Revolutionary War. William married Mary Durham c 1776.
“William Kelly came over from Ireland in 1755. Settled in Wake Co., North Carolina. Married Mary Durham of Durham, North Carolina. After Revolutionary War moved to Georgia, and before war of 1812 moved to Franklin Co., Tennessee. Made his will in 1824 and died in 1826. Buried in a country graveyard near Pelham, Tennessee.” From US Sons of the American Revolution

I am looking for information on the descendants of Benjamin Colcough Kelly, the son of William Stark Kelly and Mary Frances Durham. I believe that Willaim and Mary may be my 4th great grandparents.
Any information that you may have will be greatly appreciated.
